Alexandra Balkova

Alexandra Balkova is an accomplished venture capitalist and expert in public relations with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. Currently serving as a Venture Fellow at the Newton Venture Program, Alexandra focuses on building a diverse next generation of investors. As a General Partner at Startup Wise Guys, involvement includes supporting over 400 startups globally, managing investor relations, and strategic brand positioning. Alexandra also contributes as an expert and member of the Competition Commission for the Ukrainian Startup Fund, which promotes technology startups in Ukraine. Previous roles include participation in various PR and communications initiatives across multiple organizations, showcasing a strong foundation in investor relations, media strategy, and partnership development. Alexandra holds a Master's degree in International Information Analysis, Public Relations & Communication from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
