Shayan Roy Chowdhury has a diverse and impressive work experience history. Shayan'smost recent position was as the Head of Product at the Newton Venture Program, where they oversaw a portfolio of learning products that aimed to help individuals from overlooked backgrounds succeed in venture capital. Prior to that, they served as a Global Shaper and Co-Curator of the London Hub at the World Economic Forum, actively working with a network of young people to address global challenges. Shayan also held the role of Head of Ventures at the Fair Education Alliance, supporting a portfolio of 10 education ventures. Before that, they designed and led Teach For India's incubator for education ventures as the Manager of Innovation, supporting 23 different ventures. Shayan also worked as a Senior Analyst at Bain & Company, facilitating investment deals for private equity clients, and at Mu Sigma Inc. as a Data Science team leader. Shayan's work experience spans various sectors and demonstrates their commitment to making a positive impact.

Shayan Roy Chowdhury has a fellowship in Innovation Ecosystem Builder from MIT D-Lab. Shayan also holds a degree in Economics with minors in Statistics & Mathematics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Human Centered Design from IDEO.org.
