Ian Williams

Ian Williams is an accomplished executive with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at New Hope Group since November 2012, Ian also chairs NEX Building Group, Australia's second-largest homebuilder, and Lindsay Australia Ltd, an integrated transport and logistics company. Additional roles include Advisor at Mitsubishi Corporation, Director at Stoddart Group and National Group, and board member of Baseball Australia. Ian holds senior advisory responsibilities at Herbert Smith Freehills and serves as Vice-President of the Australia Japan Business Co-operation Committee. Academically, Ian has degrees in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford, as well as Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney.
