Shelly Kapoor Collins

Shelly Kapoor Collins is a prominent advisor and investor actively engaged in promoting equity in entrepreneurship, particularly for founders of color and women-led technology companies. Currently serving as an Advisor for the HBCU Founders Fund and a Partner at Sway Ventures, Shelly leads early-stage investments in diverse technology firms. Additionally, Shelly co-founded the Shatter Foundation, a nonprofit aimed at empowering girls in underserved communities through access to capital and resources. With a strong background in venture capital and advisory roles at various startups and organizations, including Broadway Angels and the Gaming Society, Shelly is dedicated to fostering inclusive economic growth and advocating for heightened financial inclusion for women on a global scale. Shelly holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Management Information Systems and Computer Information Systems from the University of Maryland, and has furthered education in Venture Capital at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
