Mole Wong has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and data management. Mole is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Nex since April 2019. Previously, they were employed at HK01 where they held multiple roles including Director of Data Management, Data Engineer Manager, and Senior Data Engineer. Mole's early career included teaching positions at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where they served as a Senior Lecturer and Lecturer. In these roles, they taught courses in computer science and demonstrated expertise in OS kernel, computer networking, and web system development. Mole is also proficient in Linux and Mac usage and development.

Mole Wong's education history begins in 1997 when they enrolled in The Chinese University of Hong Kong for their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. They completed this program in 2000. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the same university, starting in 2000 and concluding in 2002. Continuing their academic journey, Mole Wong then pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, which lasted from 2002 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Mole Wong obtained several certifications. They completed the "Machine Learning" course and obtained a certificate from Coursera Course Certificates in July 2016. In January 2019, they obtained a certification in "Data Engineering on Google Cloud Platform Specialization" from Coursera Course Certificates. Their most recent certification is in the "Deep Learning Specialization" obtained in March 2019 from Coursera Course Certificates.
