Welton Teixeira da Silva is an experienced mining engineer with a focus on ventilation, mine planning, and infrastructure implementation. Since May 2014, Welton has held the position of Engenheiro De Minas at Nexa Resources, specializing in subterranean mine ventilation and planning. Previously, from May 2012 to May 2013, Welton served as Coordenador de Mina at Companhia Goiana de Ouro - YAMANAGOLD, overseeing the implementation of ventilation and pumping station projects. From 2005 to May 2012, Welton worked at Mineração Serra Grande as a Supervisor de Ventilação, demonstrating expertise in ventilation systems and coordinating a comprehensive ventilation plan across multiple mining sites. Welton’s academic background includes a bachelor's degree in mining engineering from Faculdade Do Noroeste De Minas and a degree in surveying engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia de Agrimensura de Pirassununga, complemented by a technical degree in mining from Cefet-GO.
