Christian Rein

Christian Rein is an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in high voltage cable projects and substation automation. Currently employed at Nexans since January 2013, Christian specializes in engineering, planning, and executing installation services for submarine HVDC and HVAC cable installations, as well as land cable projects. Prior to Nexans, Christian worked at ABB from June 2003 to January 2013 in various project engineering roles focused on substation automation and turnkey projects, following a two-year management trainee program. Earlier experiences include internships at ABB Corporate Research and Norsk Hydro. Christian holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and an MBA in International Business from Göteborgs universitet.
