Gerardo Iniescar Pereira

Gerardo Iniescar Pereira has over 15 years of experience in information systems and business process management. Currently serving as CIO for the Business Group D&U AMEA at Nexans since January 2008, Gerardo is responsible for addressing regional issues in the group's IT strategy, managing business demand, and overseeing budgetary and financial aspects in alignment with group objectives. Previously, as IS Corporate Business Process Manager, Gerardo managed IT processes across various departments, leading a team of ten and collaborating with regional CFOs and IT managers. Prior experience includes leading finance and controlling processes with a focus on SAP and BAAN for Madeco, implementing systems across multiple countries in South America. Gerardo holds a Licenciatura in Business Administration from Universidad del Alba and an Egresado degree in Business Management from Universidad de Chile.
