Laurent Dore

Laurent Dore has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Laurent'smost recent role was as the VP of Aerospace & Medical Business Unit at Nexans, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Eaton as the Director of Engineering and Innovation in the Aerospace Interconnect Technologies Division, Worldwide from 2014 to 2023. At Eaton, they also served as the BU General Manager for Aerospace & Defense - Souriau Paris from 2014 to 2020. Before joining Eaton, Laurent held the position of General Manager Operations - North Asia at HUBER+SUHNER from 2012 to 2014, where they managed all operations, oversaw a major relocation project, and facilitated the company's manufacturing capabilities in China. Laurent also worked as the Asia Purchasing Director at SOGEFI from 2010 to 2012. Laurent's earlier experience includes roles at Eaton, Philips Consumer Electronics, Somfy, Radiall, SOCAMOB, and Armée de l'air, where they held various management positions and gained expertise in areas such as M&A evaluation, lean manufacturing, operations management, and global industry management.

Laurent Dore has a Master of Business Administration with High Honors from emlyon business school, which was completed from 2000 to 2001. Laurent also has a MSc in Mechanical Engineering with Honors from Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Tarbes - ENIT, earned between 1988 and 1993. As part of the Erasmus - University international exchange program, Laurent studied Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 1993 and Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General at the University of Strathclyde in 1992. In 2018, Laurent attended INSEAD for a program on Strategy in the age of Digital Disruption and the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business for the Advanced Program for Leaders, with a specialty in Business Strategy.
