Scott Linton

Scott Linton is an experienced fibre optic jointer and tester with a career spanning over two decades. Currently engaged with Nexans since July 2018, Scott has also worked with multiple companies including CCL UK, OFS, JDR Cable Systems, Universal System Solutions, and Areva/ERSG. Responsibilities have included leading fibre installation for CCTV and security networks, performing fibre splicing and OTDR testing, and working on significant projects such as the Hornsea windfarm. Previous roles involved collaboration in small teams for fibre optic cable termination and testing. Scott’s educational background includes attendance at Monkwearmouth from 1994 to 1999.
