Marianne Wu

Marianne Wu is a seasoned venture capitalist and board member with extensive experience in investment and technology. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at Congruent Ventures since 2022, Marianne also holds several board positions across various companies, including Fictiv, Everactive, and Menlo Micro. Prior roles include Board Observer at Stem, Inc. and leadership as President of GE Ventures, where Marianne managed a $1B portfolio focusing on digital disruption in industries. Marianne launched 40 North Ventures, developing its investment thesis and portfolio, which features notable companies like Desktop Metal and Proterra. Academically, Marianne earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Physics from The University of British Columbia.
