Joel Braverman

Joel Braverman has an extensive work experience in the technology industry. Joel currently works as a Roku Application Developer at Nexgen IOT Solutions since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at MUSIC Tribe as a Technical Authoring Lead from 2022 to 2023.

From 2011 to 2022, Joel was a Partner Engineer at Roku, where they supported the developer community, developed and maintained partner relationships, and reviewed channel submissions.

Before that, they worked as a Software Developer/Entrepreneur at Musiclouds from 2010 to 2014, where they developed an API based music streaming channel for Roku Digital Video Player.

Joel also has experience as an Information Technology Consultant at San Jose State University in 2009-2010, and as an IT Manager at Universal Audio from 2007 to 2009.

Joel started their career as a Sound Engineer and IT Tech at Kevin Bird Productions from 2005 to 2007, and as a Consultant at The Coastal Computer Specialist from 2001 to 2007.

In addition, Joel worked as a Domino Web Application Engineer at Vintara from 2000 to 2001, and as a Writer and Lotus Notes technical consultant at ProRec Magazine from 1997 to 2001.

Joel Braverman attended Central New England College from 1984 to 1985. In the following year, they studied at Montgomery College, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for either institution.
