Michelle McGuire, EdD

Michelle McGuire, EdD has worked as the Chief Operating Officer at NexGen News since October 2019. Prior to that, they were a Teacher at the Los Angeles Unified School District from August 2005 to June 2022. Michelle also served as a Professional Development Consultant at the Pasadena Unified School District from September 2019 to September 2020. In addition, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at USC Rossier School of Education from January 2018 to June 2019.

Michelle McGuire, EdD holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Teacher Education in a Multicultural Society from the University of Southern California. Michelle obtained this degree from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the same university, which they completed from 2004 to 2005. Michelle'sundergraduate studies at the University of Southern California earned their a Bachelor's degree in Communication, General, which they accomplished from 1996 to 2000.
