Josh Horowitz

Josh Horowitz is the current Head of Legal at NexHealth. Prior to this, they served as Senior Legal Counsel, Product & Commercial at PayPal from January 2019 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for heading up PayPal's money transfer service, Xoom. Horowitz has also served as a mentor at Runway: The Innovation Hub from January 2019 to December 2020, where they helped high technology and life science companies with legal services. Additionally, they were the Principal at EmCom Law from April 2011 to March 2013.

Horowitz started their legal career as Co-Founder of Replete Skincare in January 2011, where they remained until December 2013. Josh then became General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Tilt (acquired by Airbnb) in March 2013, a position they held until February 2017. Following this, they returned to EmCom Law as Principal from March 2017 until their current role at NexHealth.

Josh Horowitz has a J.D., Cum Laude, from University of California, Hastings College of the Law in Intellectual Property Concentration. Josh also has a Dual B.A., Cum Laude, from American University in Economics and International Studies with University Honors Program. Additionally, they have certification from AIARE in AIARE Level 1 and from Yoga Alliance in Certified Yoga Teacher - RYT 200. Lastly, they have certification from FAA in Private Pilot Certificate.

Their manager is Alamin Uddin, CEO. They work with Waleed Asif - CTO & Co-Founder, Christopher Smith - Head of Partnerships, and Paul Fung - General Manager, Developer API.
