Matthew Boehm

Matthew Boehm is the current Chief of Staff at NexHealth. Prior to their current position, Boehm served as the SVP of Sales and Operations at Snow Joe + Sun Joe from April 2021 to January 2022. Matthew also held the position of Senior Manager of Instock Management, Sports and Outdoors at Amazon from October 2016 to April 2021. In this role, they led the Instock Management team focused on procurement and logistics for the Sports and Outdoor categories including both Hardgood and Softgood buying/inventory management. Prior to Amazon, Boehm was at Cloudburst Brewing.

Boehm also has experience as an Assistant Professor of Naval Science at the University of Washington from February 2013 to September 2016. In this role, they mentored over 100 Naval ROTC students in career selection, personal leadership development, academic performance, and achieving success beyond the university. Matthew also managed a leadership laboratory program in which they were able to place students in high stress environments and fine tune their crisis decision management using navigational, engineering, and leadership lessons taught in a classroom environment.

Boehm's experience also includes serving as a Submarine Officer in the US Navy from May 2008 to September 2016.

Matthew Boehm has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Naval Architecture Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. Matthew also has a certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying in Fundamentals of Engineering.
