Aljosa Lovric Petric

Aljosa Lovric Petric has extensive work experience in the field of product engineering and innovation. Aljosa is currently working as a Product Engineering Lead at Nexi Group since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at Nets Group from February 2020 to July 2023.

Before joining Nets Group, Aljosa worked at Mercury Processing Services International, where they served as the Head of Innovation and Prototyping. In this role, they were responsible for payment evolution and the development of the HCE mobile app Wave2Pay for Intesa Sanpaolo banks outside Italy. Aljosa held this position from July 2016 to February 2020.

Earlier in their career, Aljosa worked at Banka Koper d.d., where they held various roles in the credit card business. Aljosa served as the Coordinator R&D from March 1996 to June 2009 and as a Base24 specialist from November 1999 to September 2006. Aljosa also gained experience in POS operations during their time at the company.

Additionally, Aljosa briefly worked at Intesa Sanpaolo Card in an operations role in 2009.

Prior to their work in the financial sector, Aljosa co-owned and worked as a Sales Manager at Lovric - Petric Group d.o.o. from May 1993 to February 1995.

Aljosa Lovric Petric attended the Nautical School of Engineering from 1988 to 1991, where they pursued a high school degree in Electronics. Following this, they enrolled at the Università degli Studi di Trieste from 1991 to 1993 to study Engineering of Electronics, although they did not achieve a degree during this period.
