Fabio Picena

Fabio Picena has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Fabio started their career as an ICT Analyst at Ericsson in 2008. In 2010, they founded Synapse Web Agency & Software House. Fabio then joined Tecnocasa in 2011 as an IT Product Manager, where they were responsible for redefining business processes and implementing a new CRM platform.

In 2017, Fabio joined ADEO as a Corporate Hacker, where they were part of an international team providing valuable insights and analysis to global leaders on strategic issues. Fabio also took on the role of IT Project Manager and Business Analyst at Bricocenter Italia, where they managed various IT projects and conducted technology scouting.

Fabio's next position was at Agos, where they held multiple roles including General Manager of Agoscom, a NewCo focused on incubating new business models, and Head of Innovation Factory, leading a team focused on corporate acceleration and IT innovation.

In 2021, Fabio joined Sisal as the Online Platforms & Innovation Manager, overseeing the development and evolution of digital platforms and managing innovation streams to introduce new technological solutions.

Most recently, they joined Nexi Group in 2022 as the Head of E-commerce Merchant Services Operation, responsible for managing the operations of e-commerce merchant services.

In addition to their professional experience, Fabio is also involved in the Navigli District Toastmasters as the Vice President Public Relations, showcasing their communication and leadership skills.

Fabio Picena has an education history that includes a degree in Computer Engineering and a diploma in Scientific Maturity with a specialization in National Informatics Plan. Fabio obtained their Laurea degree from the Università degli Studi di Parma, where they studied Computer Engineering from 2001 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended the Liceo Scientifico from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained their Diploma in Scientific Maturity with a specialization in National Informatics Plan. In addition to their formal education, Fabio has also obtained two additional certifications. In 2017, they received the PRINCE2 2009 Foundation certificate in Project Management from APMG International. Most recently, in June 2022, Fabio obtained a certification in Smart Contracts from the University at Buffalo.
