Michael Casson has a diverse and extensive work experience. Michael is currently working as the VP Partnerships, E-Commerce at Nexi Group since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Strategic Partnerships at Uncapped from December 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Uncapped, Michael was the Head of Partnerships at PrestaShop from April 2020 to December 2021. In this role, they led a team responsible for securing strategic partnerships with payment, ISV, and logistics solution providers in EMEA & APAC. Michael managed recruitment, partnership strategy, and implementation with various stakeholders.

From August 2017 to March 2020, Michael held the position of Senior Manager, International Business Development at Vulog. Michael was in charge of new business development, key account management, and market development across EMEA & APAC for the company's shared mobility services platform.

Prior to Vulog, Michael worked at Deezer as the Director of Strategic Partnerships from October 2015 to August 2017. Michael was responsible for B2B partnership distribution for telecom operators, IPTV providers, and OEMs across EMEA. Michael also developed the company's indirect distribution strategy for new verticals.

Michael's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Associate at Deloitte from June 2012 to September 2015.

Michael Casson completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Accounting and International Business at Washington University in St. Louis from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, they briefly attended Cass Business School, where they pursued a second BSBA degree with a focus on Financial Markets & Institutions and International Business, but did not complete it. Following their undergraduate studies, Michael enrolled in the DePaul Driehaus College of Business from 2012 to 2013 and obtained a Master of Accountancy degree. Michael also earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the AICPA in November 2014.
