Niket Sourabh has had a varied and successful career in software engineering. Niket began their career in 2004 as a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Design Engineer for Nokia Mobile Phones. In 2006, they joined Qualcomm as a Senior Software Engineer and was the feature owner for multiple projects in the Global Positioning Systems (GPS) team. Niket designed and developed software on Android Application and Core Framework to determine handset location based on Wi-Fi signal environment. In 2011, they became a Founding Engineer for Mobsmith, where they developed iOS and Android advertising SDKs with emphasis on delivering and tracking rich media ad creatives. Niket also designed a private marketplace (RoR) for facilitating custom deals between Mobsmith publishers and advertisers. In 2012, they joined Rubicon Project (NYSE: RUBI) as a Sr. Engineering Manager, Mobile and led the mobile engineering team responsible for development of technology including SDKs, applications, and tools for advertising, ad quality forensics, and data tracking. Niket hired and mentored a team of engineers, and was the architect of iOS and Android versions of Software Development Kits (SDKs). In 2016, they became a Co-Founder and Engineering & Product for Nexla, where they created a Converged Data Fabric that automated various data engineering tasks, intelligently created an abstraction of data, and enabled collaboration among people at different skill levels.
Niket Sourabh received their BTech in Elec. Engg/Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2002. Niket then pursued an MS in Communication Systems at the University of California, Los Angeles, which they completed in 2003. In 2015, they obtained a USA Cycling Level 3 Coach certification from USA Cycling.
