Spas Vutov

Spas Vutov has a diverse range of work experience in the software development and engineering fields. Spas is currently the Engineering Director, Blockchain at Nexo, where they lead and coaches engineering managers, provides technical guidance for projects, and leads project architecture. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Manager, Blockchain at the same company, where they built teams and laid the foundation for projects.

Before Nexo, Spas worked as a Technical Lead at bet365, where they designed solutions for different parts of the gaming system and advised on technical aspects of development. Spas also acted as a technical liaison for the Sofia office and prepared solutions for regulations in Greece, Netherlands, and Ontario.

Spas has also gained experience at notable companies such as The Coca-Cola Company, where they worked as a Principal (Full-stack) Software Developer on an enterprise project, and at Bitcoin Gold Official, where they served as a Senior Software Developer and contributed to the growth of the Bitcoin Gold ecosystem.

Additionally, Spas has worked at SBTech, where they held roles as a Development Team Lead, Senior Software Developer, and Junior Software Developer. Spas was involved in various projects related to back office systems, led cross-functional teams, and contributed to the development and maintenance of software solutions.

Prior to their industry experience, Spas worked as a Technical Trainer at Software University, where they imparted their knowledge and skills to others.

Spas also holds a Bachelor's degree in Macroeconomics from the University of National and World Economy, which they received from 2010 to 2014.
