Julia Cestari Santos

Julia Cestari Santos has extensive work experience in public policy analysis and government affairs, primarily in the healthcare sector.

Julia currently holds the position of Head Public Policy at Mevo since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Prospectiva Consultoria for several years, starting as an Intern in 2015 and moving up the ranks to eventually become a Manager. In their role as Manager, they were responsible for leading a team in the development of public health policy analysis projects, government monitoring, and supporting the methodological construction of policy analysis. Julia also managed team schedules, conducted material revisions, and had experience in multitasking demands and data analysis in the health sector.

Before their time at Prospectiva Consultoria, Julia worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Minor in Government Relations at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing from 2018 to 2018. Additionally, they gained experience as a Programme Intern at Worldwide Initiatives for Grantmaker Support (WINGS) from 2014 to 2015.

Julia Cestari Santos has a diverse education history. Julia began their higher education journey in 2012 at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing, where they pursued a degree in International Relations. Julia completed this program in 2016. In 2014, Julia also had the opportunity to study Business and Negotiation at IÉSEG School of Management.

To further enhance their knowledge in the field of Public Policies, Julia pursued several specialized courses. In 2017, they attended a program on Public Finance at Instituição de Ensino FIPE. Prior to this, in 2018, they completed an Extension Course on Advocacy and Public Policies, with a focus on theory and practice, also at FGV.

In addition to their academic achievements, Julia obtained the DELF B1 certification in June 2015 from Aliança Francesa, showcasing their proficiency in the French language.

Before pursuing higher education, Julia completed their high school education at Colégio Dante Alighieri from 2000 to 2011. In the latter years of this period, from 2009 to 2011, they attended Texas Tech High School.
