Cedric Tomacruz

Cedric Tomacruz has a wealth of experience in the animation and visual effects industry. Cedric started their career in 2001 as a Digital Background Artist at Warner Bros. Animation. Cedric then worked at Mike Young Productions as a Lead Matte Painter before joining Stargate Studios in 2002, where they took on the role of Senior Matte Painter and Supervisor for nearly a decade. In 2011, Tomacruz worked as a Senior Matte Painter and Supervisor at Blizzard Entertainment and Zoic Studios respectively. Cedric also had a brief stint at DreamWorks Animation as a Senior Matte Painter. From 2013 to 2015, Tomacruz held the positions of Senior Conceptual Artist and Senior Matte Painter at FuseFx. Cedric then joined ScanlineVFX in 2019 as a Senior Matte Painter, and in the same year, they became an Owner, Producer, and Senior Matte Painter at Visual Illusion Pictures. Currently, Tomacruz is working as a Senior DMP and Concept Artist at NEXODUS Cooperative.

Cedric Tomacruz pursued their undergraduate education from 1982 to 1986 at the University of Santo Tomas, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in the field of Fine Arts and Commercial.
