Gareth Hughes

Gareth Hughes is an experienced leader in the automotive electronics and manufacturing sectors, currently serving as Vice President & General Manager at Nexperia since May 2021. Prior to this role, Gareth held various significant positions, including Country Operations Director at Lear Corporation, overseeing large-scale operations in the Philippines, and General Manager at HELLA, managing multiple plants and producing high volumes of automotive relay devices. Additional experience includes roles as China Engineering Manager at SMR Automotive Mirrors UK Ltd, Engineering Manager at Johnson Controls with notable collaboration with Ford Motor Co in Germany, and other positions focused on business development and engineering management.
