Allan Wells

Allan Wells is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in indirect tax management across various industries. Currently serving as the Global Indirect Tax Director at Crawford & Company since July 2022, Wells oversees a range of tax burdens including sales and use tax, VAT, and GST for a global insurance provider. Prior to this role, Wells held the position of Director of Indirect Taxes at ABB from August 2012 to July 2022, managing North American non-income taxes and compliance. Previous experience includes serving as Tax Director at Guardian Building Products, State and Local Tax Manager at ING, Sales & Use Tax Advisor at GE, and Lead Tax Analyst at Temple-Inland. Allan Wells holds a BBA in Accounting from Augusta University.
