David Koch

David Koch has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 1990, they worked as an architect at Gigantes Zenghelis Architects before transitioning to MAP Arquitectos in 1994. David then became a Project Manager at the City of Frankfurt Building Department in 1999. In 2001, they joined Herzog & de Meuron as a Senior Architect and eventually became a partner and managing director in their subsidiary in Spain. In 2005, they became the Managing Director at Feliches Spain SL. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Executive Chairman at Synkyria. In 2016, they joined HOCHTIEF as the Global Head of Group Risk Management and later took on the role of Chief Risk, Organisation and Innovation Officer. Finally, in 2018, they became the Chief Executive Officer at NEXPLORE.

David Koch began their education in 1990 at Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they studied architecture. David continued their studies at Technische Universität Braunschweig, although the duration of their enrollment and the specific field of study are unknown. In 1992, they attended Pratt Institute to further pursue their interest in architecture. The following year, in 1993, they transferred to ETH Zürich to explore the subject further. Koch then attended SCI-Arc in 1995 before returning to Technische Universität Darmstadt in 1996 to complete their degree in architecture, philosophy, and sociology, earning the title of dipl. Ing Architecture.
