Nathan Wilson has extensive experience in various roles throughout their career. Nathan started as an Acoustic Engineer at Arup, where they worked on projects such as the Sydney Opera House and ABC studios. Nathan then moved on to GEA Group, where they worked as a Control System Engineer, responsible for system design and development. At HERMOS AG, they worked as a Software and Electrical Controls Engineer, focusing on developing control systems software for process industries. Nathan continued their career at Romax Technology as a Project Manager and was involved in the development of online condition monitoring systems and automated fault detection methods for wind turbine drivetrains. Nathan then joined Machinery Automation and Robotics as a Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer, specializing in industrial process automation and robotics. Nathan later joined Cochlear as a Project Manager, leading R&D projects for test systems development. At Nanosonics Ltd, they served as a Design & Development Project Manager, managing projects for complex medical devices. Most recently, Nathan joined Advanced Navigation as the Director of Research and Development, overseeing a large portfolio of navigation technologies and robotics products. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Vehicle Engineering at Nexport.

Nathan Wilson completed their Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Technology from AGSM @ UNSW Business School in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Mechatronics from the University of Technology Sydney, graduating in 2003.
