Rene Freling

Rene Freling is the advisor at nexStep.ai, a position they have held since 2020. Rene was previously the CEO & founder of Classic Stills, a Los Angeles ecommerce / entertainment startup. Freling created the concept for a new luxury consumer product that drives pure incremental for clients in entertainments in sports. Rene bootstrapped the business to almost $1m in revenue after negotiating licensing deals with Warner Bros., Marvel, Universal, Sony, Fox, HBO, BBC, USWNT, Arsenal Football Club and more. Freling has also been featured in a wide range of publications, including Forbes, and has won startup awards in Southern California and China.

Rene Freling has a certificate in executive finance from INSEAD, a post-graduate diploma in journalism from Greater Brighton Metropolitan College, and a psychology degree from The University of Sheffield.
