Ajay Agrawal is a prominent figure in the field of digital economy and innovation, currently serving as a Research Fellow at the Stanford Digital Economy Lab. Agrawal is also a Co-Founder of Intrepid Growth Partners and an Academic Advisory Council Member at The Brookings Institution's Center on Regulation and Markets. In addition, Agrawal holds membership on the Advisory Board of the Carnegie Mellon University Block Center for Technology and Society and is a Faculty Affiliate at the Vector Institute. With a long-standing academic career, Agrawal has been a Professor at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto since 2003, and has engaged in entrepreneurial leadership as the Founder and Academic Director of the Creative Destruction Lab and as a Co-Founder and Academic Director at NEXT Canada. Agrawal began an academic career as an Assistant Professor at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University from 2001 to 2003. Agrawal earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from The University of British Columbia between 1995 and 2000.
