Karim Lakhani

Karim Lakhani currently serves as the Chair and Co-Founder of the Digital, Data, & Design Institute at Harvard University, a position held since January 2022, focusing on digital transformation and AI. At Harvard Business School, Karim has been the Dorothy and Michael Hintze Professor of Business Administration since July 2006, engaged in research and teaching. Additional roles include Academic Partner at Flagship Pioneering (since May 2021) and Board Member at Mozilla (since February 2016), where efforts are directed toward maintaining an open web. Previous experience includes a strategy consultant role at Boston Consulting Group and a lecturer position at MIT Sloan School of Management. Karim's educational background includes a PhD in Innovation and Technology Management from MIT Sloan School of Management and an MS in Technology and Policy from MIT, along with a B.ENG.MGT. in Electrical Engineering and Management from McMaster University.
