Mischa Hamara

Mischa Hamara is an experienced professional in program development and venture building, currently serving as Director of Programs and Program Consultant at NEXT Canada since January 2022. Previously, Mischa held the position of Head of Incubation at Bay & Co, where responsibilities included designing incubator programs and overseeing venture operations. As Director of gBETA Toronto at gener8tor, Mischa successfully expanded the program by recruiting startups, mentors, and investors. Mischa co-founded Seed by Seed, a non-profit focused on food re-connection, and served as Associate Director of Global Program Innovation at WE, managing program design and team operations across multiple countries. Additional roles include Leadership Facilitator Specialist at the University of Toronto and Manager of Learning and Development at WE.org, where Mischa coached a global team and delivered workshops. Mischa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Development Economics and International Development from Dalhousie University.
