Ioannis Kalantzis

Ioannis Kalantzis is a seasoned audio professional with a diverse range of experiences in sound design, audio editing, and music composition. Currently serving as a podcast audio editor for the Next Big Idea Club since April 2020, Kalantzis also operates as a freelancer through IK Audio, focusing on audio restoration and post-production since 2014. A freelance composer since 1994, Kalantzis has contributed to numerous projects and showcases work on SoundCloud. Educational contributions include roles as a lecturer at Μητροπολιτικό Κολλέγιο, teaching advanced audio processing and sound synthesis, and as an educator in music technology courses at IVT AKMI. Past positions include working as a sound designer for Soundsnap.com and serving on the board of HELMCA, where various roles were held for seven years. Kalantzis holds a diploma in composition, instrumental, and computer music from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon and degrees in classical guitar and music theory from renowned conservatories in Athens.
