Michael J. Kovnat

Michael J. Kovnat has a long and varied work experience. Michael J. began their career in 1993 as a Producer for Video News International. Michael J. then moved on to Channel One in 1994 as a Trainer. In 1996, they became an Executive Producer for New York Times Television. Michael J. then moved to True Entertainment in 2000 as Creative Director. In 2005, they became Senior Producer for CBS News. In 2010, they were a Producer-New York for the National Geographic Society. In 2011, they were a Producer for NBCUniversal, Inc. and in 2013 they became an Executive Producer for the National Geographic Channel. Most recently, in 2015, they became the V.P. Production & Development/Co-founder at Heleo Media.

Michael J. Kovnat obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Modern Culture and Media from Brown University between 1984 and 1989. Michael J. then went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in 1993.
