Stephan Sommer-Schulz

Stephan Sommer-Schulz is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in data strategy and innovation. Currently serving as Co-Founder, Executive Board Member, and CTO at NEXT Data Service AG since April 2018, Stephan focuses on developing data strategies and providing comprehensive data services. Previously, from January 2013 to March 2018, Stephan held the position of Director of Research & Data Science at Searchmetrics GmbH, where responsibilities included prototyping and Big Data initiatives. Earlier in the career, Stephan was the CEO of W3 Solutions GmbH from March 1996 to December 2012, leading product development and managing customer relations. Academic credentials include studies at Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin from 1994 to 1998 and Freie Universität Berlin from 1990 to 1994.
