Alex Lee

Alex Lee is currently the Manager of Reliability at Next Energy Technologies. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Scientist at the Air Force Research Laboratory from June 2017 to August 2018. There, they developed processes for soft electronics. From September 2010 to June 2017, Alex worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Texas at Dallas where they conducted and coordinated research on synthesis and characterization of semiconductor materials for energy and optoelectronic applications. Before that, Alex worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories from January 2005 to August 2010 where they functionalized and evaluated 3-D nanostructures as part of interdisciplinary efforts to improve performance of photovoltaic and photonic devices.

Alex Lee completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. They also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Alex Lee is certified by LinkedIn in Developing Your Emotional Intelligence and Effective Listening.
