Jaakko Koskela

Jaakko Koskela has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry, with a focus on server programming and software engineering. Jaakko is currently working as a Senior Software Architect at Next Games, a Netflix Game Studio. Prior to this, they were a Lead Server Programmer at Zynga from 2017 to 2022. Jaakko also held the role of Senior Server Engineer at Everywear Games in 2017. From 2012 to 2017, Jaakko worked at Electronic Arts (EA) as a Senior Software Engineer. Before that, they had a long tenure at Digital Chocolate, where they held various positions including Senior Server Programmer, Server Programmer, Lead Tools Programmer, and Game Engineer. Earlier in their career, Jaakko worked as a Programmer at Bowsville Oy and completed non-military service at Finnish Literature Society, SKS.

Jaakko Koskela completed their education at Jyväskylän Ammattikorkeakoulu from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Software Engineering.
