Joonas Laakso

Joonas Laakso has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Joonas started their career as a Trainee at A4 Media Oy in 2005 and later worked as a Project Assistant and Project Manager at A4 Media Ltd from 2006 to 2007. Joonas then joined Canon Oy as a New Media Coordinator in 2007 before moving on to Bugbear Entertainment Ltd in 2008, where they worked as a Producer until 2013. After that, they joined Remedy Entertainment as a Producer until 2015. Most recently, Joonas has been working at Next Games since 2015, where they have held various positions including Production Lead, Executive Producer, Development Director, and currently serves as the Chief People and Culture Officer.

Joonas Laakso obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media, specializing in Design Management, from Espoo-Vantaan Teknillinen Ammattikorkeakoulu, Muotoiluinstituutti, from the years 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, Joonas attended Helsingin kuvataidelukio, but it is unclear whether they received a degree or pursued a specific field of study during their time there.
