Rob Koch has extensive experience in the insurance industry, with a strong focus on claims management. Rob currently works as the Senior Director of Customer Success at CoreLogic | Next Gear Solutions, where they oversee customer satisfaction. Prior to this, they were the Director of Customer Success at Accurence.
From 2018 to 2019, Rob worked as a Consultant at LBK Insurance Claims Consulting, where they provided management consulting expertise to clients in the insurance industry.
From 2017 to 2018, Rob served as the Claims Director - Field Operations at California Casualty Management Company, where they managed a team and ensured compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
From 2013 to 2016, Rob held various leadership positions at Farmers Insurance Group of Companies, including Director of Inside Property and Casualty Claims and Director of Inside Property Claims. In these roles, they led large teams and was responsible for handling and improving claims processes.
Before joining Farmers Insurance, Rob worked at the same company as the Director Property Midwest Field Claims from 2002 to 2009. Here, they were responsible for developing and improving claims processing infrastructure and delivery processes.
Rob Koch attended Central Michigan University from 1979 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their degree, Rob has acquired several certifications in various fields. Rob received a Certificate in General Insurance from The Institutes in March 1987. In February 1988, they completed a Graduate in Claims Administration program with Farmers Insurance. Later that year, in June 1988, they obtained an Associate in Claims certification from The Institutes. Rob has also pursued professional development in leadership, achieving the Presidential Leadership Program at Farmers Insurance in November 2014. In recent years, they have focused on Lean Six Sigma methodology, earning a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification in November 2018, followed by a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification in December 2018. Most recently, in March 2019, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com.
