Haim Yadid

Haim Yadid has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. 🎉 Haim is currently an Engineering Fellow at Next Insurance, where they have held multiple positions since 2016. As the VP of Technology, they played a key role in the company's development. 🎉 Haim also served as the Director of Platform Engineering, leading a group of 60 engineers and overseeing the development of the insurance platform. Prior to that, they were the Head of Backend Engineering at Next Insurance, where they established guidelines and built the backend team from scratch.

Before joining Next Insurance, Haim was the Head of Performance and Application Infrastructure Group at Outbrain in 2015. 🎉 Haim founded Performize-IT in 2010, a company that provided consulting and training services in software performance. 🎉 Haim also co-founded MY4t in 2014 and worked as a Co-Founder and CTO. Earlier in their career, Haim worked as a Scalability Performance and Stabilization Expert at ScalableJ and as a System Architect at Mercury/HP.

In their previous roles, Haim demonstrated expertise in optimizing software performance and scalability. 🎉 Haim has experience as a Technical Lead and Team Lead at Mercury, where they improved the performance of monitoring products. 🎉 Haim also worked as a Team Manager and Chief Programmer at Nuvisio, where they managed a middle-tier team and developed an internet-based coupon system. Additionally, Haim co-founded Har Meron, a company they were involved with in its early stages.

Throughout their career, Haim has played a pivotal role in driving technological advancements and ensuring high performance in various software development projects.

Haim Yadid began their education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences and Mathematics from 1990 to 1993. 🎉 Haim then continued their studies at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a partial Master of Science degree in Computer Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Haim Yadid has also obtained certifications in Machine Learning from Coursera in July 2017 and Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in May 2013. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continued learning and expanding their expertise in relevant fields.
