Matt Crawford has extensive work experience in content creation and management. Matt most recently worked as the Head of Content at Next Insurance since March 2020. Prior to that, from October 2017 to March 2020, they were the Content Director, Customer Experience at Insureon, where they led a team and implemented a data-driven content strategy resulting in increased organic traffic and PR earned media placements.

Before that, Matt was the Managing Editor at StubHub, an eBay company, from October 2015 to February 2017. In this role, they developed and executed an editorial strategy for international marketing campaigns and led on-site content creation for various events and partnerships. Matt also handled search engine optimization for top performer and event pages in North America and the UK.

From June 2011 to October 2015, Matt worked as the Digital Content Director at Boulevards New Media Inc., where they introduced new business initiatives and content best practices for a network of digital properties and community newspapers. Matt managed a team for multimedia content creation, email marketing campaigns, and social media strategies. Matt also coordinated website relaunches with new technology and search engine optimization.

Previously, Matt worked at SF Station from January 2010 to April 2015, first as a Senior Writer from August 2004 to January 2010, and later as the Managing Editor from January 2010 to April 2015. During their time there, they developed a new content strategy that significantly increased website traffic and social media audiences. Matt also managed a team of writers and photographers and assisted with planning and executing community-engagement events.

Matt Crawford attended Humboldt State University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Matt has also completed a certification course titled "Danny Sullivan on SEO" offered by LinkedIn, which they obtained in January 2017.
