Shay Mandel

Shay Mandel has more than 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Shay is currently the VP of Engineering at Next Insurance, where they lead the Product Engineering organization and focuses on recruiting and delivering exceptional service through technology. Prior to this, Shay worked at Technion Alumni as an Entrepreneurs' Mentor, providing guidance and support to aspiring entrepreneurs. Before that, they served as the Chief Innovation Officer at Perion Network, where they fostered innovation and focused on ad-tech and search monetization. Shay also held the role of Head of R&D at Undertone Division and VP R&D at GrowMobile Division within Perion Network.

Earlier in their career, Shay Mandel worked at Sears Israel (Delver) as an R&D Group Manager, leading multiple teams and presenting concepts to senior executives. Shay has also held positions at VMware as a Product Manager, at Otipo as the CEO and co-founder, at Microsoft as a Principal Program Manager, and at HP as the Chief System Architect and Group Manager, among other roles. Throughout their career, Shay has demonstrated a strong ability to drive innovation, lead teams, and deliver successful projects.

Shay Mandel completed an MBA in International Executive Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2000, Shay Mandel earned a B.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Additionally, in January 2017, Shay Mandel obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University through Coursera Course Certificates.
