Mike Calabrese

Mike Calabrese has a broad and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Mike started their career at Travelers Insurance as a Workstation Support Professional and later worked as a Hardware/Software Engineer in the Desktop Services Area. At the University of Connecticut, they worked as a Web Site Designer in the CBA Web Development Center. Mike then joined Corporate IT as a Software Engineer, collaborating with underwriting professionals to define business requirements.

Mike's expertise in Duck Creek solutions and insurance industry led him to work at Aspen Insurance Group as both a Software Engineer and a Technical Lead. Mike supported a complex specialty commercial insurance platform and implemented the Duck Creek underwriting platform. Mike also worked at Mphasis as a Duck Creek Solutions Architect, supporting consumer and personal lines of business and developing platform best practices.

Mike later joined Syntel as a Duck Creek Solutions Architect before their current role at Next Level Solutions. At Next Level Solutions, they have held various positions including Duck Creek Integration Functional Lead, Associate Vice President of Engineering, and their current role as Associate Vice President of Product and Innovation.

Throughout their career, Mike has gained experience in various areas including software engineering, platform upgrades, integrations, security, and performance. Mike'swork experience showcases their ability to tackle complex projects, collaborate with teams, and drive innovation in the insurance industry.

Mike Calabrese attended the University of Connecticut from 2007 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree. Mike'smajor was Resource Economics with a concentration in Marketing and Business Management, and they also completed a minor in Business.
