Freddie Williams

Freddie Williams is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Head of M&A at Next since June 2022, Williams previously held the position of M&A Director at Walgreens Boots Alliance from February 2016 to May 2022, overseeing investment opportunities across international businesses. Prior to that, Williams worked as M&A Manager at WPP, where advisory roles included numerous deals across multiple countries in diverse sectors. Starting a career as a Senior Associate at PwC, Williams contributed to significant buy and sell-side transactions. An ACA Chartered Accountant, Williams holds Master’s Degrees in Russian Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.
