Gabriel Mello

Gabriel Mello has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Gabriel is currently employed as a Program Manager at Next Reason since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at CI&T, starting in 2015. During their time at CI&T, they held multiple roles including Project Manager, Scrum Master - Senior Leader, and QA - Software Engineer Pl. In these positions, Gabriel gained experience in leading large transformation initiatives using agile methodologies, managing external service providers, and ensuring product quality and safety. Before joining CI&T, Gabriel worked at Samsung Electronics as an R&D - Mobile Quality Analyst, where they created and analyzed software tests for mobile phones. Gabriel also has experience as a Bank Technician Maintenance at IBM and as a Technician intern at Universidade Estadual de Campinas.

Gabriel Mello completed their high school education and obtained a degree in Electronic Technician at Escola Técnica Estadual "Bento Quirino" from 2007 to 2009. Gabriel then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications at Centro Universitário Salesiano de São Paulo from 2011 to 2017. In 2014, Gabriel also took the TOEFL ITP® exam at the University of Evansville, achieving a total score of 560.

In 2019, Gabriel enrolled at Centro Universitário Salesiano de São Paulo again, this time to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Project Management, which they completed in 2021. Additionally, in 2022, they obtained the Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera.

Gabriel has also earned several additional certifications in their field. In 2015, they achieved the ASTQB/ISTQB - CTFL Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In 2020, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master certification from Scrum.org and the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate from CertiProf. Gabriel also became a SAFe Agilist certified by Scaled Agile, Inc.
