Brian Acks is an experienced finance leader currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Embroker since October 2021, where the focus is on insuring innovative companies. Brian is also a member of the Next Series Club since March 2020. Previously, Brian held the position of Head of Finance at Vouch Insurance, a digital insurance platform for startups, from November 2019 to October 2021. Brian's extensive career at CNA Insurance spanned over 13 years, where Brian progressed through various roles, including Assistant Vice President of Corporate Development and FP&A. Brian holds an M.B.A. in Strategic Management, Finance, and Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
