Next Street
Michael is a Managing Partner leading Strategy, Partnerships, and Products at Next Street. In his role, Michael is responsible for implementing all aspects of the firm’s strategy, building partnerships and products that can support small businesses at scale, and driving business development and marketing efforts. He joined the firm in 2014 as a Senior Analyst. Since then he has delivered over 75 client engagements, identified the opportunity for and helped build Next Street’s Chicago office, and supported the launch of a new business line. In 2018 alone, Michael developed strategies for financial institutions who deployed $1.3B to small businesses and an additional $600M to community facilities in low-income neighborhoods.
Prior to Next Street, Michael worked as a management consultant in IBM’s Smarter Commerce Practice, supported interest rate swap products for JP Morgan Chase, and led several microfinance initiatives in developing markets. Michael has a BS in Finance from Lehigh University and is an MBA Candidate at The Wharton School.
