Nicole Cruz

Nicole Cruz has extensive work experience in the field of People Operations and Talent Acquisition. Nicole is currently the Vice President, People at Next47, where they are responsible for various strategic initiatives such as leveling, compensation frameworks, performance management, and culture-driven initiatives. Nicole also leads COVID-19 response planning and improved global new employee on-boarding.

Prior to their role at Next47, Nicole took a break to focus on family and personal development as a Stay at Home Mom. During this time, they engaged in professional projects such as mentoring upcoming People Ops talent and serving as an advisory board member.

Before their break, Nicole was the Vice President, People at Ten-X, where they led change management and restructuring efforts. Nicole rebuilt and led the Talent Acquisition organization, successfully driving aggressive hiring goals. Nicole also led the People Operations organization and implemented cost-saving measures.

Before Ten-X, Nicole held various roles at Microsoft, including Director of Executive Talent Acquisition, Director of Talent (Silicon Valley Development Center), and Group Manager of Talent Market Insights. Nicole received recognition for their work in providing talent-focused insights and analysis.

Nicole's early career included positions at EY, where they led national recruitment efforts and played a role in implementing a new Applicant Tracking System. Nicole also worked as a recruitment and HR management consultant for various clients during the Silicon Valley dotcom boom and subsequent bust.

Nicole Cruz holds a BA degree in Psychology with a focus on Human Factors Engineering and Human Cognition from Mississippi State University. No specific start or end year for their education is provided.
