Ignacio Corcuera Platas

Ignacio Corcuera Platas has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering. Ignacio started their career at everis as a Student Internship where they gained experience in data analysis, report preparation, web scraping, and storage and operation in HDFS with Hive and Impala. Ignacio then joined the Universidad Politénica de Madrid as a Research Assistant, where they worked on developing neural networks using Python and frameworks like Keras and Tensorflow. Ignacio also used Senpy to publish these networks as web services. Ignacio later joined Strategy Big Data as a Data Engineer, where they worked on designing and implementing data ingestion processes using Azure DataFactory and the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem. Ignacio also used Apache Spark and Google DataProc for data transformation. Their most recent position is at Nextail Labs, where they continue to work as a Data Engineer.

Ignacio Corcuera Platas completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2015. Ignacio further pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Telecommunications Engineering from the same institution during the period of 2015 to 2017. In parallel, they also pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Sapienza Università di Roma from 2016 to 2017.
