Jan Meier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jan started their career in 2009 as a Software-Entwickler at VISUAL SEVEN - Internetagentur, where they worked until 2016. In 2011, they also joined MEFA as a Software-Entwickler, a position they held until 2014. Alongside their work, they served as a Studentische Hilfskraft at Universität Trier from 2011 to 2014. In 2015, Jan Meier joined nextbike by TIER as an Android-Entwickler, a role they held until 2018. Jan then transitioned to the role of Lead Mobile and eventually became the Head of Engineering in May 2023.
Jan Meier has a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatik from Hochschule Trier. Jan also studied Informatik at Leipzig University.
