Betsy Lyons has had a diverse work experience throughout their career. Betsy started as an Accounting Manager for Microcomputer World in 1994 and worked there until 1996. From 1997 to 2015, they worked for STM Associates, an executive recruiting firm, where they held various roles as an Operations Manager, Recruiter, and HR professional. Their responsibilities included maintaining employee records, managing daily issues with staff, payroll processing, and accounting.

In 2015, Betsy joined Prismview, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, where they worked as a Project Manager and HR specialist. As a Project Manager, they were responsible for international sales partners, project management, cost reporting, research, documentation and reporting, coordination between departments, and project safety compliance. As HR specialist, they were responsible for recruiting, evaluating, hiring, and training new employees, administering employee benefits, coordinating a temporary workforce, and providing employee counseling and conflict resolution.

In 2021, Betsy became a Project Deployment Manager for Samsung Electronics America, where they were responsible for coordinating project management activities, managing relationships with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring that client needs were met. Currently, Betsy is a Human Resources Manager at NextCentury Submetering Systems, where they will be responsible for managing the company's human resources functions.

Betsy Lyons obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Utah State University. Betsy also obtained two additional certifications: International Logistics - Level 1 from Global Training Center in January 2022 and PHR from HR Certification Institute - HRCI, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are unknown.
