Syed Aqeel Kakakhel, PMP, PSP, EVP has extensive work experience in project controls and management. Syed Aqeel is currently the Vice President Project Controls at NextDecade, where they oversee project planning and execution. Prior to their current role, they served as the Director Project Controls at NextDecade and McDermott International Inc. Syed Aqeel also worked as the Director Project Controls at CB&I and Sr. Project Controls Manager at AECOM. Syed began their career as a Construction Engineer at URS (former-Washington Group) and later held roles as Sr. Planner/Scheduler and Sr. Cost Analyst.
